The Guinness World Records has experienced lots of people attempting to break an archive as a way to have their legacy imprinted from the time its inception in 1955 (until someone surpasses their record, needless to say), and after this Chris Cook, community manager at GamePointsNow and GameKeysNow, is going to break the record for your longest video gaming marathon on the football.
Running from November 5th to November 7th with the Loading Bar in Dalston, north-east London, the actual record stands at 48 hrs and 5 minutes, with Cook selecting FIFA 15 as his football title of choice along with the charity he or she is sponsoring is SpecialEffect.
“I’ve been playing buy FIFA 15 Coins games since they started sources that are for the Mega Drive, so couldn’t make a better approach to raise money & awareness for the truly amazing cause,” says Cook. “As someone who has seen first-hand how gaming may help enhance lives, I could truthfully not make a better charity to lend my support to.”
For many who can’t achieve the gaming-themed cocktail bar, case will streamed reside on Twitch and people watching should be able to win prizes from Insert Coin Tees, Papa John’s Pizza and Hauppauge, or maybe challenge and contend with Chris online during the stream.
